As the weather gets warmer, and the NW Natural Street of Dreams draws closer, our team at Westlake Development can’t help but get more and more excited about this year’s build.

We are especially happy to officially announce the name of our 5,200 square foot English farmhouse: the Fairway Manor! As an English-styled home right along The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club in Hillsboro, Ore., we found the name to be quite fitting.

Could you call this house a home? We sure can! The view of the 12th hole is beautiful, and has been full of wild critters (and golfers) for our crew to see and enjoy!

Overall, the build is going great! Every day more progress is made as the house comes together, chiefly with the help of our friends over at Tiffany Home Design. We can’t give away all the secrets, but we can tell you elegance and rustic features including shiplap and barn doors are coming together for a relaxed, yet luxurious feel. We are also really excited about the four-season outdoor living space, open stairs and a vaulted second floor. Styled as a crafts area, the bonus room is perfect for creative thinking and artistic inspiration. The vast country view is nothing short of relaxing.

So far, we’ve been working on the house from all fronts (and sides)! From the metal roof installation, to stonework and indoor painting, it’s all coming together. Yes, there are some long hours and weekends, too, but we are right on schedule. Our team at Westlake Development is working hard to not only give the new homeowners an amazing dream home, but give something to the 60 thousand plus visitors of the NW Natural Street of Dreams a luxury home to be inspired by!
